Edimburgo è una bellissima città, che merita una visita di almeno due giorni pieni. La ferrovia divide la parte vecchia della città, con la sua famosa strada royal mile che termina nel maestoso castello, dalla parte nuova della città, dove in realtà l'aggettivo nuovo si riferisce alla fine del 700/metà 800, infatti è uno degli esempi meglio conservati di stile georgiano. Entrambe sono patrimonio Unesco e meritano una puntuale ma rilassata visita, con le dovute soste nei fantastici pub scozzesi facendosi consigliare quale whiskey sia adatto per concludere il pasto (single malt o blended?)
